Cottage by the Sea by Robin Jones Gunn is a great story filled with hope, healing, forgiveness and more. I was quickly whisked away into the story and found myself finishing it within the day. It is a short book at around 250 pages, but that is not a bad thing since the story is so good and powerful. Erin is a great character that faces a lot and has to make some hard decisions and learns how to balance it all. I had never read anything from Robin Jones Gunn but I know I want to read more now. She is truly a talented and blessed storyteller. I would recommend this book to any who who enjoys Christian Contemporary fiction.
