Julie Lessman has done it again, she has written an outstanding story filled with a great message, deep multidimensional characters and so much more! Sparks fly as fast as the pages turn in the second book in Julie's The Hearts of San Francisco series. While I highly recommend that the first book should be read first this book would be enjoyable on its own but you would miss some of the back story with other characters.
This is Allison McClare's story and boy is it a fun one. Miss Alli is sassy, loving,caring and fully determined to be an independent young lady, that is until she meets Mr. Nick Barone. Can this handsome rogue break into her heart that has been hurt in the past?
I just loved this story and had so much fun getting to know the McClare's more and more. They are all so much fun. I know I can't wait to read the next in the series but also know it will be a wait worth waiting for.
Fans of Julie Lessman will not be disappointed!

ReplyDeleteOnly author I know that makes me cry, laugh, and get angry, - all with the same book, and then keeps me guessing, and on the "edge of my seat" , before leaving me inspired, and with a warm, cozy, feeling! Julie is my favorite author - such a sweetheart! Love her AND her books!!
