My Review:

Oh how fun to read about candy! Who just doesn't love it? Of course I never expected to find so much competition in the candy making world and wow can they be mean. I found the setting to be fun and loved the candy making plot because it was different and something I had not read yet.

At the beginning I really like Lucy but as the story played out I found I did not like her as much and found all her scheming to be a tad too much. I didn't think she really grow or change during the story. In my opinion she made the romance side of the story hard to love.

The big downside I found was the book just was so slow paced and I think it could have been a lot shorter. I will say I loved the fact that it was written in the first person. This was my first Siri Mitchell book so I have no idea how it compares to her others, but I would assume many will love this book.
